ADNOC Gas, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), announced on Monday that it is making temporary operational adjustments to its production of liquefied natural gas and liquids traded for export, as a result of ongoing disruptions to shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.

The company confirmed in a disclosure to the stock exchange that it is working closely with its customers and partners on a per-shipment basis to meet obligations as much as possible, without providing further details about the volume of production.

The company’s gas liquefaction facilities are located on Das Island and have a production capacity of six million tons per year of liquefied natural gas, which means that tankers must cross the Strait of Hormuz to reach these facilities.
