The Saudi stock market opened higher on Sunday, supported by gains in three major sectors.

The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 0.35% by 10:15 a.m. Saudi time, adding 40.15 points to its tally, reaching 11,737.6 points.

At the performance level of the main sectors, the banking and telecommunications sectors rose by 0.15% and 0.14%, respectively, while the basic materials sector achieved gains of 0.10%, while the energy sector declined by 0.36%.

Green dominated 170 stocks, led by Seddaq, which rose 6.65%, followed by ACWA Power, which rose 2.98%.

On the other hand, 59 stocks witnessed negative performance, led by the Naseej stock, which fell by 1.54%, followed by the Thimar stock, which fell by 1.33%.
