Gold futures rose during the Asian session on Thursday.

According to the Comex classification of the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold futures for February were trading at USD4,505.40 per ounce at the time of writing, up 0.00%.

Gold traded higher in the session at USD 4,505.40 per ounce. It may find support at USD 4,336.30 and resistance at USD 4,555.10.

Dollar index futures, which measure the performance of the US currency against a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.04% to trade at USD97.65.

Meanwhile, on Comex, the price of silver for March delivery rose 0.00% to trade at USD71.88 per ounce, while the price of copper for March delivery rose 0.00% to trade at USD5.57 per pound.
